Why is my loan approved for an amount smaller than I was approved in the past?

Every province has their own rules when it comes to what income we are allowed to use in order to calculate the maximum amount we can lend to our customers.
In some provinces it’s the last calendar month, in others the average of the last 3 months.
If you have a job that pays irregular amounts and, in your province, we must calculate the last calendar month of income, that will cause your maximum loan amount to vary from month to month.
If you think we made an error and missed one of your paychecks or secondary sources of income, please reach out to our Customer Experience team and we will check that for you.
